How rankings are produced
Example: a $300,000 home at a 1.2% effective rate is about $3,600/yr in property tax. Rankings use the same ACS, NAIC, and FEMA inputs as the county pages and are regenerated during the static build.
Confidence: Medium for ACS-derived tax rankings; Low for insurance rankings. Data as of 2026-06-22.
Sources: U.S. Census Bureau ACS, NAIC Homeowners Insurance Report, and FEMA National Risk Index.
